When I partnered with Marla Trumper on Blue Eye Design, our goal was to create a brand that was both personal and joyful, while conveying a boutique and sleek aesthetic. During our initial meetings, I focused on designing a visual identity that would reflect Marla’s personality and mission. Drawing inspiration from her own blue eye color, I incorporated shades of blue as a personal touch and symbolized the circular shape of an iris in the patterns.

The brand’s mission was to offer unique, memorable experiences for universities, corporations, and individuals looking to enhance their lives with joyful and one-of-a-kind experiences. To communicate this, I selected imagery that radiated happiness and positivity, aligning with the vibrant energy Marla brings to her work.

The final design featured a sophisticated, boutique-style brand with complementary color palettes, sleek fonts, and patterns evoking the iris and the idea of a portal into transformative experiences. The blue tones, personal and meaningful to Marla, were carefully integrated, while the overall imagery spoke to the joy and delight her work embodies.

Marla was thrilled with the result, approving the logo and branding within the first few iterations. The project successfully captured her vision, blending elegance with warmth and joy, and setting the foundation for a strong and memorable brand presence.
